Pouring Cream

HOW TO NOOJ IT…

For an indulgent but virtuous pouring cream, without the cholesterol but with all the goodness of nuts, just use 1 part nooj, 1 part water.

Perfect for creamy mushrooms on toast or pour over porridge or your favourite dessert.

Butter

HOW TO NOOJ IT…

Nothing beats hot toasted sourdough or crumpets and with the addition of your favourite oil, nooj can whip up the perfect dairy-free swap for traditional butter.

Add crushed garlic, chilli, anchovies, miso paste and more for creamy, salty deliciousness
(see recipe page).

Yoghurt

HOW TO NOOJ IT…

Add a splash of water to loosen the paste then add freshly squeezed lime, lemon or grapefruit juice to taste and spoon generously over your favourite granola or dessert.

Add some finely grated lime zest for an extra zing or clementine juice for sweetness.

Take nooj butter to the next level by adding white wine vinegar, Dijon mustard and crushed garlic.

Porridge

HOW TO NOOJ IT…

Oats and nooj were made for each other so adding nooj to porridge will take it to the next level. For one serving squeeze about 1 tsp of nooj straight into your pan with the oats and maple syrup. Add twice the amount of water to oats and simmer for a few minutes.

For total luxury, squeeze another teaspoon of nooj into a bowl and add a drop of water to loosen, then enough water to make a puddle of cream. When your porridge is ready pour into the cream and enjoy. Remember nooj is a concentrate so add 1 tsp per person and add more if necessary.

Tea

HOW TO NOOJ IT…

Cashew’s your gal here, milk it skinny for a not-too-creamy taste.

Coffee

HOW TO NOOJ IT…

Almond’s your gal here and is happy with hot or cold water, you choose. To make an enviable foam, make your milk ‘full fat’ with freshly boiled water, add a splash of water to loosen then gradually add more and finish with milk a frother to foam.

Pour your foamy milk into your coffee, sit back and admire your handywork.

Curry

HOW TO NOOJ IT…

Ideal for adding creaminess to curries when coconut just won’t do, simply squeeze directly into your sauce and mix.

If you have a thinner thai curry or a Laksa that needs the nooj treatment, loosen the paste first with a drop or two of water or freshly squeezed lime juice for easier combining. Remember nooj is a concentrate so add 1 tsp per person and add more as you go if necessary.
