If you like a steaming hot crumble with lashings of cream you have to try this 🤤
Perfect for a guilt free dessert but even better for breakfast, it really is just fruit, nuts and whole grains, what’s not to love 😍.? Make a big batch and it’ll keep you and yours going for a couple of days 😉
Here’s what we did 👇
For the filling
7 large, ripe plums
Juice of half an orange
2 tbs maple syrup
1 pack of @yockenthwaitefarm granola (any flavour, we used Really Oaty)
50g Cashew nooj
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp Marsala
Seeds from 1/2 vanilla pod or a few drops of vanilla extract
1 or 2 tbs water

Split the plums, place in an oven proof dish (we used a 20 cm one) drizzle over the maple syrup and squeeze over the orange juice. Cover with foil and bake in a moderate oven for about 10 mins. Check with the point of a knife after 10 minutes, if they need longer remove the foil and give them another few minutes.

Sprinkle over the granola, we used most of one pack. Return to the oven uncovered and bake for 5-10 minutes. Keep an eye on the granola, you want it to be golden without burning.

For the cream, squeeze the nooj into a bowl or jug and add the vanilla, maple syrup, Marsala and a splash of water, mix well. Add more water, a teaspoon at a time and mix, you want the consistency of double cream.

Pour generously over your steaming crumble and enjoy 💫
