This has got to be THE best no bake vegan chocolate dessert we’ve made 🍫
It really delivers on creamy indulgence and so simple to throw together, just what you need when you’re craving something sweet, crunchy, chocolatey and creamy 💫
Here’s how we did it👇
80g cashew nooj (plus extra 30g ish for the topping)
5x30g bars of @pureheavenlychocolate dark chocolate
1/2 pack of @chikasfoods sweet cinnamon almonds
240ml boiled water
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp Marsala (Kahlua, or Bailey’s would also work well here)
Melt the chocolate over a pan of simmering water
Remove from the heat and mix in the nooj
Gradually add the boiled water and mix until completely smooth
Pour into your glasses or bowls and allow to chill for at least a couple of hours in the fridge
To make the topping, blitz the almonds in a food processor until crumbly (or use a rolling pin to bash them)
Loosen the nooj with a little water first then mix in the syrup and alcohol if using
Fold in the almond crumbs and add a dessert spoonful of this mixture to the chilled chocolate
Finish with a sprinkling of almonds and an extra grating of chocolate…..enjoy!
