Thanks to @breenscuisine for this gorgeous dish 😍. Might sound like a weird combo but take it from us: marmite + nooj almond paste + pasta = a heavenly trio🍝
Here’s what @breenscuisine did👇
Fry 1 white onion with a pack of chestnut mushrooms, enough @quorn_uk pieces to serve 2 and loadsss of garlic in a splash of olive oil and balsamic vinegar🧅🍄🧄.
Once it was a lil caramelised, I mixed 1/2 a pack of nooj almond paste with 2tsp of @marmite ,1 heaped tbsp of @marigoldengevita nooch, 1/2tsp @schwartz.uk paprika powder, chilli flakes and enough (30 seconds off the boil) hot water to turn it into a paste. I added the paste to the pan alongside petit pois, edamame & mung bean fettuccine (this pasta bangsss, i’m ob-SESSED!!) and a reserved cup of pasta water.
– Please pretend I also added spinach at this point instead of forgetting about it and leaving it sitting pretty in the fridge😌 –
Served with a handful of rocket and air-fried piccolo cherry tomatoes (which I drizzled with balsamic and sprinkled with salt beforehand). Then seasoned with ground black pepper and chilli flakes to taste🍅
I used the remainder nooj to make my smoothies extra creamy or to make m!lk for my cereal🥛 mmmm so goood !!!
