Take a big bite of these easy biscuits…or cookies, whatever
Take a big bite of these easy biscuits…or cookies, whatever you prefer to call them 😆. We used a BBC Good Food recipe for a basic oat biscuit and swapped out the butter for almond nooj and a little coconut oil. Make double this amount as you’re sure to get through them….get that kettle on ! 🫖
Here’s what to do 👇
Pre heat your oven to 180C / 160C fan.
🍪 75g Self raising whole meal flour
🍪 75g Rolled oats
🍪 1 tsp baking powder
🍪 75g Almond nooj
🍪 4 tbs melted coconut oil
🍪 1 tbs chia seeds
🍪 1 tbs golden syrup
– Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, mix well.
– Roll into a sausage shape, about 7 cm thick, wrap in cling film and chill well for at least 1/2 hour.
– Remove from the fridge, slice into 1 cm rounds, flatten a little then bake for 10 – 15 minutes
