Black Bean Brownies made with NOOJ Almond Paste – is there a finer way to kick off the weekend? If there is – we need to know about it!! 🙋♂️
Until then we shall indulge, head first, into this tasty, wholesome brownie revelry…

INGREDIENTS:
▪️ 400g Black Beans, rinsed and drained
▪️ 4 tbsp Coconut Oil, melted
▪️ 60g Almond Nooj
▪️ 2 ripe Bananas, sliced
▪️ 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
▪️ 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
▪️ 60g Maple Syrup
▪️ 4 tbsp Honey
▪️ 1 tsp Baking Powder
▪️ 1 tbs Ground Flaxseed
▪️ 100g Porridge Oats
▪️ 1/4 tsp Salt
Optional: Handful of raisins, chopped walnuts or chocolate chips.

METHOD:
👉Add all the ingredients to the bowl of a food processor and pulse to combine. Stir in the raisins and walnuts or chocolate chips if using.
👉Grease a muffin tray with coconut oil and add spoonfuls of the mixture.
👉Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until firm but still squidgy in the middle.
👉Great served with some Cashew Nooj Coffee Ice Cream
